This is my first attempt to do a #DIYProjects.
Well, a simple way to spice up my room a bit, using a vintage blue mason jar that I've bought at ACE Hardware for IDR 29.500 (if i'm not wrong), cupcakes liners that i have, glue, and some embellishment to make it prettier.
Let the picture do the talking:

My Street Style Inspiration: Taylor Swift
To be honest, I'm not a fashion blogger or a fashionable person as well, also never really spend too much money for fashion, always tend to buy what i need or want on discounted price (we don't always have to pay the full price,rite?) *big grin
Anyway, just wanna share some street style snaps that really fit my personal taste of fashion.
For those who haven't notice that Taylor Swift have a great taste on fashion, Check this out!
Colourful Flat shoes
Boots
Earthy tone bags
Sun glasses 'n red lips
Skinny jeans
Flowy Floral summer dresses!
Me want that polka dot sweater!!
Well, i adore her street style that's all about simply feminine, classic yet sophisticated.
J'adore!

Thrifting - Part 1 ...
Around 2 weeks ago, I went thrifting to Pasar Baru, Central Jakarta. Not so far from where I lived, somewhere over the rainbow. (;
Well, last visit i decided to bought these cool plaid coat (Brand- C.O.L.Z.A), some kind of Japanese Street brand (based on googling).
Guess how much i paid for it? it's only IDR 40,000 (around SGD 5).
At first i thought it's quiet pricey for a thrift clothes, but at the end it's worth the price since it's still in a good shape and perfect condition, maybe gently used. Score of the day!
And the 2nd thing that i bought was this sheer chiffon (or not) mini dress. But i have a long black tank top that i can wear underneath. With only IDR 20,000 it's mine. Not bad for a beginner, rite?
Ohh how i miss thrifting at the flea market in Singapore again, gotta wait 'till October.. *tick tock

Welcome to my blog...
Hi, welcome to my "Choose to be Thrifty" blog..
I'm a newbie here, so please be nice (:
Well, just want to share a bit why I choose those name to be the title of my blog, it's simply because I'm accidentally in love with thrifting.
Which I believe that started last year when I went to Singapore for a short getaway and accidentally found a flea market there and discover that you can still shopping those cute clothes without getting you broke.
Got my point? That's a clever way to spend money on fashion. Oh well, IMO! (;
Unfortunately, I'm living in Indonesia, so there will be no GOODWILL, SAVERS, SALVATION ARMY, et cetera.
BUT, we still have PASAR SENEN or PASAR BAROE to find some bargain. Hell yeah!
Today in the morning, I just went to both of that thrift store to try my luck. I just checking out some random stuff, just in case there's a jackpot in the IDR 5,000 racks. LOL *yeah, it's too much.
I did manage to find something to get home with me today, not so special prints or materials, just something to wear in a daily basis and will share with you later after it's all clean.
To be continued...
